On August 24, 2025, IIM Sambalpur hosted an inspiring lecture by Dr. Manu Singh, who explored the profound connection between eco-spirituality and climate change. In his address, Dr. Singh highlighted how ancient wisdom holds powerful answers to some of today’s most urgent environmental challenges.
Drawing from the Vedas and the principles of Sanātana Dharma, he emphasised that caring for the planet is not merely an obligation but an integral part of our way of life. He reminded the audience that nature has always been regarded as sacred in Indian thought, and living in harmony with it is essential for sustaining the future.
The session left students and faculty with a renewed sense of purpose, underscoring that meaningful climate action begins with a conscious, values-driven approach to the world around us.
